The M2 Macbook Air is at its lowest ever price on Amazon
This M2 Macbook Air deal is phenomenal – a sliver of a laptop at a sliver of the price
The M2 Apple Macbook Air is now shifting for its cheapest EVER price on Amazon – at a mere £1,060. The sumptuous slimline laptop joined Apple’s roster in 2022 amid much fanfare: a hotly awaited follow-up to the celebrated M1 Macbook Air. You can now snap up the 256GB SSD version for £70 less than its average £1,130 price point – the lowest price we’ve seen it in stock for on Amazon. While that’s not an earth-shattering discount in the abstract, it’s still a welcome price trim on a product line that famously evades discounts.
We were mightily impressed with the M2 Apple Macbook Air when we reviewed it, lavishing five stars on the ultraportable laptop. While it failed to make quite the impact of its predecessor, the M1 Macbook Air, we enjoyed its classically beautiful build (although note the move away from the wedge-style chassis), amped-up battery life and high performance.
In fact, we enjoyed the M2 Apple Macbook Air so much that we crowned it best laptop overall in our best laptops guide, citing its larger 16:10 aspect ratio screen and zippy, new M2 processor.
It’s worth noting that, in our books, the 256GB SSD model runs a little slower than its counterpart, but found this by no means a deal-breaker – certainly not enough to scupper its five-star review and best laptop award. When you factor in this freshly discounted price point, it’s a quibble we’re willing to accept. In fact, one of our only other gripes with the M2 Apple Macbook Air was the lack of £999 base model. Thanks to this most recent price cut, we’re edging ever-closer to that sub-four-figure price tag, and that’s gratifying to see.
