1. GoPro Hero 11 Black

Deal price: £400 The Hero 11 Black is GoPro’s most capable flagship yet. It packs an all-new 1/1.9in sensor which, along with offering support for 10-bit colour, also allows you to record in an 8:7 aspect ratio. This near-square format offers greater flexibility by allowing you to crop your videos into both portrait and landscape clips.

The Hero 11 Black can record 5.3K at up 60fps, 4K video at up 120fps and 2.7K video at up to 240fps, as well as 27-megapixel stills. It comes with GoPro’s latest stabiliser tech, HyperSmooth 5.0, and offers full 360-degree horizon levelling for smooth and stable footage. In addition, the Hero 11 ships with GoPro’s new Enduro battery as standard.

While the Hero 11 Black launched with a street price of £450, it has been available discounted down to £400 for GoPro subscribers since day one. GoPro has now, however, removed the subscription requirement, enabling anyone to pick up a new Hero 11 Black at this discounted price.

3. GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini

Deal price: £300 The Hero 11 Black Mini is the latest action cam to join GoPro’s lineup. It takes the heart of the flagship Hero 11 Black: the new 8:7 aspect ratio sensor, 5.3K recording, HyperSmooth 5.0 stabilisation and 360-degree Horizon Lock, and packs them into a cut-down, scaled-back frame. The Mini loses the Hero 11’s colour displays but adds a second set of mounting prongs for increased mounting flexibility and weighs in at just 133g. While it won’t be for everyone, if you’re after the performance of the Hero 11 but want to cut down on the size, weight – and cost – the Hero 11 Black Mini may be the way to go.

4. GoPro Hero 10 Black

Deal price: £350 With 5K recording, front and rear colour displays and GoPro’s incredibly effective HyperSmooth 4.0 image stabiliser, the Hero 10 Black is one of the best go-anywhere cameras on the market. Along with featuring in-built mounting prongs and out-of-the-box waterproofing, the Hero 10 is also compatible with GoPro’s extensive range of Accessory Mods, allowing you to customise the camera to suit your individual needs.
