Matt joined Expert Reviews as a staff writer in 2021 after a period of music writing at Spanish culture outlet METAL Magazine. Passionate about all things audio, that musical trend continued at Expert Reviews where he has carved out a role testing a whole host of headphones and speakers. Currently, he is undertaking a sound engineers course to further train his ears to pick the bona fide audio gems from the disappointing duds of the product world. Outside the office, Matt takes the tunes with him as a frequent attendee of gigs, clubs and festivals as well as giving his ears a break when forging silver jewellery or following sporting events.
