Given that the demand for printers in the UK is high, it’s a little bit harder to find a genuinely good discount.
But that doesn’t stop us from trying: we’ve put on our bargain capes to find you some of the best deals currently available this October. These are the most appealing discounts around ranging from basic inkjet printers to handy all-in-one wireless units that’ll save you from the time-consuming task of scrolling through countless online storefronts.

The best printer deals of October 2022
1. HP Laserjet M140we + 6 months Instant Ink (was £225, now £180)
Capable of printing 25 pages per minute, this HP Lasterjet printer is one of the fastest going and the perfect buy should you only require monochrome printing. In other words, you can only use one colour of ink at a time and print different shades of that colour, typically black. Still, if that’s fine by you, this is an all-in-one machine with scan and copying capabilities that work perfectly with Apple AirPrint, Windows, macOS and Linux systems over Wi-Fi. As far as we can tell, this is an all-time low price point too, so it’s never been a better time to buy.
2. HP OfficeJet Pro 9014e + 9 months of Instant Ink (was £202, now £190)
What’s not to like about the HP OfficeJet Pro 9014e? As printers go, this one is right up there offering fast colour printing, copying, faxing and 2-sided scanning, plus mobile, wireless, and USB printing to boot. It’s also got dual band Wi-Fi that’ll resolve connection issues without you having to work out the problem yourself; very handy in our estimation. Pair it up with HP+ and you’ll get low cost ink for the duration of your new printer’s life, including 9 months worth of Instant Ink free upon sign up.
On average, this one has sold for £202 throughout its time on Amazon and we’ve seen it as high as £220 just a few months back, so this is a lovely little saving.
3. Epson EcoTank ET-8500 (was £601, now £559)
We covered this photo printer’s sister model, the 8550, in our full review, where it received four stars and a recommneded award. The ET-8500 is essentially the same printer as the ET-8550, with minor differences in terms of paper-width etc. Its a serious machine too, with its six ink tanks printing high-quality photos quickly and at a low running cost. A major quibble with this line was its price, but with a whopping £42 off in this deal, that seems to be taken care of.
